This is sparsely populated lands of Australia, almost desert-like, where people live almost in a natural economy and far from urban civilization. The laws of life genre are harsh here: help in emergency cases depends on the weather, connectivity, and the condition of air transport. Conditions for doctors' work are also extreme, far from sterile operating rooms or outpatient clinics. And yes, the series is interesting from an educational point of view. How does a regular Australian live, under what conditions? Beautiful roads, amazing infrastructure, houses with pools and modern furniture? Not noticed. It's very similar to documentary filming on location... I don't know if the series will appeal to the mass audience, but as a lover of medical serials, I find the material interesting. You could say that this is an ordinary series based on unusual material.
